SHORT-TERM MISSIONS TRIPS

Experience missions firsthand by coming with us on a team to minister to the children and staff at Andrea’s Home of Hope and Joy, and see the change that God is making in their lives. Together we can show them God’s love by our actions. Be part of something that will not only impact the lives of others but impact eternity. We invite you to join us for a “Vacation with a Purpose.” Love In Action International Ministries hosts several teams each year (of all ages), based on interest and need. Teams travel to and spend time at Andrea’s Home to serve through:

  • Construction projects

  • Playing with the children

  • Leading activities

  • Maintenance at the home

  • Assisting with daily chores

  • Showing God’s love to the children

It’s hard to describe my experiences in Bolivia in only a few words. It has been a part of my life for years now and has become my second home. The hospitality and generosity of the people there is unmatched, in my experience. Every time I leave Bolivia, a little of my heart stays and I take with me just the memories and the love that I experienced there. My time in Bolivia has opened my eyes to the unlimited nature of the Gospel. The love of Christ crosses the worldly boundaries of nation, language, culture, etc. Showing this love to the children at Andrea’s Home is such a privilege and one of the most rewarding things one can do, whether or not you speak their language. These children just need a hug, a playmate, and someone to care about them. They need models of Christ-followers that they can imitate. I thank God for the staff and the parents at the Home that have committed themselves to raising these children to know Christ and live lives that reflect the essence of the Gospel.
